KI Stout Fixed Height Table with Glides^ Makerspace & Shop

The Stout Laminate Tables by KI feature a nominal thickness of 1-1/4 inches, constructed with a particleboard core and a top surface covered in a .030-inch thick high-pressure laminate. The bottom surface is reinforced with a .028-inch phenolic backer for added durability. To enhance tamper and moisture resistance, the edges are sealed with a 2 mm poly edge banding. Each worksurface is pre-drilled, facilitating easy installation onto the table frame and accommodating optional power modules and bag hooks to be added during assembly. The table support framework is constructed from 14-gauge cold-rolled steel square tubing, featuring a pair of leg weldments. Each leg weldment includes two 2-1/4″ square post legs, a 1 3/4” square horizontal crossbeam, and post brackets made from 11-gauge steel. Additionally, the framework incorporates apron weldments of 14-gauge steel and corner brackets of 11-gauge steel, which span beneath the work surface and connect the legs using 1/4″-20 screws.
